Healing from Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence

Domestic violence can include physical abuse, sexual abuse, rape, emotional abuse, intimidation, economic deprivation, and threats of violence, among others. It’s where there’s a pattern of abusive behavior that is used by one partner to have power and control over another. For those of us healing from domestic violence, learning to set healthy boundaries and establish healthy relationships is part of the journey. Peer support can be an important part of healing yourself and helping others.
