We would like to take the opportunity to officially welcome you to the reinvigorated Recovery within Reach site. We hope that this is where you will find the inspiration to begin a recovery journey that will carry you through the rest of your life and/or to recommit to a path of wellness. We hope this site will help you find the information you need to support a loved one, get involved in your local community, and give back to other Tennesseans.
There is something for everyone – whether you’re searching for housing, peer specialist trainings, stories of hope, or resources for different life experiences. In particular, Recovery within Reach is designed for people in recovery from mental illness or substance abuse, as well as people who have lived experience with foster care, homelessness, juvenile justice, and additional systems. We are all sharing our recovery and wellness journeys here and supporting each other along the way.
Looking for housing? The Housing Within Reach section features an extensive searchable database that covers all of Tennessee. This section also includes information on group homes, veterans housing, and more.
Peer support provides an opportunity to connect with someone who lives a life of recovery from mental health challenges and/or addiction and who shares their experience, strength, and hope with others.
Meet Tennessee Recovery Navigator Arsania Holmes and learn why peer support is so important to her.
"Give freely to the world these gifts of love and compassion. Do not concern yourself with how much you receive in return, just know in your heart it will be returned.”
