Pay Source
  • VA approves and pays daily rate. Veterans responsible after 3rd full month of residency to pay Program Fees that gradually increase ($200 to 325). Fees will not exceed 30% of Veteran monthly income.

Criteria
  • VA-Grant and Per Diem Transitional Housing for Homeless Veterans. Alcohol and Drug Free Environment. Basic expectations: 7-10 meetings weekly (recovery / 12 Step when appropriate), 3 hours community service, weekly house meeting, chores, weekly 1:1 with CM, compliance with personal Action Plan.
Eligibility
  • Prior Approval from VA-Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Social Worker Staff
Special Circumstances
  • Primary focus is to provide stable environment for the Veteran to seek and secure permanent, independent, affordable housing; secure employment/income; maintain budget; and address related physical and behavioral (addiction/MH/trauma) health issues that cause and/or have been a barrier to stabilized housing.
