NEXT BRIDGES FACILITATOR TRAINING: December 2-6, 2019, at the Red Cross in Memphis (1399 Madison Avenue).

BRIDGES (Building Recovery of Individual Dreams & Goals through Education & Support), founded in 1995, is a self-help program that provides education and support to individuals with lived experience of mental health disorders. Facilitated by trained peers, BRIDGES includes a set of recovery-focused psychoeducational courses as well as support groups.

Peers who take the 5-day BRIDGES facilitator training will:

  1. Enhance your own recovery through the peer support inherent in the BRIDGES program.
  2. Promote recovery for those who take the course or attend support groups.
  3. Encourage others to keep moving forward in recovery.
  4. Empower others to make a positive change their lives and the world around them.

No registration fee is charged; participants are responsible for their own travel and meals. This is the 5-day training for new trainers; experienced BRIDGES trainers can take a one-day refresher.
