Thursday, March 23, 2023, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. CT (10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET). During this virtual workshop, you’ll learn: How to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. A single five-step action plan known as ALGEE. Skills needed to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

The training is free, and participants will become certified as Mental Health First Aiders once they complete the course. Pre-training preparation is required which takes approximately two hours. Access information will be provided prior to the training date. Seats are limited and registration is required.
